A team of engineers and technicians with Eclipse Scientific, Inc. (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada) and Liburdi Automation (Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada) test a robotic arm and nondestructive testing tools in a water- filled mock-up of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited's National Research Universal (NRU) nuclear reactor vessel in Chalk River, Ontario, Canada. The robotic system was specially designed for annual in-service inspections of the reactor vessel to assess weld repairs made in 2010 and for metal loss due to corrosion.
