He is in charge of advanced molecular characterization of petroleum and associated products by means of chromatography and multi - dimensional chromatography. He has a Ph.D. MUTHUKUMAR NAGU is a lab scientist I at Saudi Aramco, email: muthukumar.nagu@ aramco.com. He has more than 15 years of experience in oilfield corrosion, including upstream, downstream refinery overhead, and naphthenic acid corrosion, microbial corrosion, cooling tower corrosion, and material selection. He has M.Sc. and M. Phil. degrees from Madurai Kamaraj University, a Ph.D., from Bharathidasan University, India and was a postdoctoral fellow at Kyoto University, Japan. He has published 19 journal articles, one book chapter, and holds two U.S. patents. He received a "Best Ph.D. Award" from the NACE International India Gateway Section in 2009.
