Specialty Coatings Firm Promotes Three to Senior Staff Lonny DiRusso. RPM Interna- tional, Inc. (Medina, Ohio, USA), a global leader in spe- cialty coatings, sealants, build- ing materials, and related services, announced a trio of promotions to its senior level staff. According to CEO Frank C. Sullivan, the moves are "part of an organizational realignment that will support our operating improvement initiatives." Lonny DiRusso is now the company's vice president and chief information officer ; Matthew Franklin is new vice president—information technol- ogy (IT); and Gordon Hyde has been moved to the role of vice president—operations. All are longstanding employees. As vice president and chief information officer, DiRusso is charged with aligning the corpo- rate-wide IT program with the company's overall strategic vision. Meanwhile, Frank- lin's new role will have him handling daily IT support at the company's corporate headquarters, providing oversight of the company's IT initiatives, and managing its information security program. Finally, Hyde's new role will see him leading the company's manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement improvement initiatives alongside Timothy Kinser, who was recently appointed as vice president—operations.
