He is involved in corrosion testing and laboratory experiments. During his undergraduate studies, he received a national inspirational scholarship, frst-class student, and other honors. During his M.S. studies he won a second-class learning scholarship and was named a frst-class student. He has participated in several projects relevant to corrosion. JIANGUO LIU is a lecturer at the China University of Petroleum, e-mail: jgliu83@163.com. He teaches the undergraduate courses Corrosion and Corrosion Protection and An Introduction to Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation. In recent years, he completed three national and province departmen- tal-level topics. His innovative research results have been applied to corrosion and protection in oil and gas storage and transportation facilities, marine splash zone corrosion and protection, etc. He was awarded the frst prize for ocean engineering science and technology and holds three national invention patents.
