23 NACE INTERNATIONAL: VOL. 54, NO. 5 MATERIALS PERFORMANCE MAY 2015 Exova Enters Long-Term Agreement with Böhler Exova Group, plc (Houston, Texas), a global testing, calibration, and advisory services provider, signed a five-year, long-term agreement with Böhler Schmiedetechnik GmbH and extends a relationship that has spanned more than a decade. Exova will provide material testing programs on high-grade forged aerospace alloy compo- nents to be used in aircraft engines and structural airframes. The testing will be conducted at Exova's aerospace laboratory in Plzenˇ, Czech Republic and will include fatigue and fracture mechanics and a range of specialist metallurgical and me- chanical testing. Florian Humer, strategic procurement external services manager for Böhler, comments, "The aerospace sec- tor demands the highest quality and tech- nical standards and Exova has proven it- self capable of meeting our rigorous testing demands. Extending our relation- ship supports our work to advance the de- velopment and application of specialist aerospace alloys." Rhodes Named Operations Manager Coastal Flow Measurement (Houston, Texas) announced that Earnie Rhodes joined the company as Permian Basin operations manager. In his new role, Rhodes will be responsible for advanced hydrocarbon measurement and field ser- vices with a focus on communications and telemetry. His activities will range from initial site surveys and path studies to sys- tems deployment, monitoring, and trou- bleshooting. Rhodes comes to Coastal Flow with more than 20 years of field expe- rience with major and independent com- panies throughout the oil and gas industry that focus on all aspects of wellhead auto- mation. He is well versed in a broad range of production and related technologies, in- cluding those that support the products and services of Coastal Flow's BirdDog In- formation Systems division, which include remote data retrieval, alarming, and the newly launched BirdDog™ LACT-Pro ® controller and ticketing service. —Husna Miskinyar
