CORROSION 2016 RECAP 69 NACE INTERNATIONAL: VOL. 55, NO. 6 MATERIALS PERFORMANCE JUNE 2016 Asset owners came together Wednesday to discuss the new NACE International Institute Contractor Accreditation Program (NIICAP). The forum addressed this new industry designed and driven program, which accredits coatings contractors that achieve professional project manage ment and performance in surface preparation or coatings and linings application. Engaging Women in Leadership Workshop For over a decade, CORROSION attendees have benefited from the Women in Corrosion Luncheon. In response to the industry 's need for more leaders, NACE International, in partnership with BP, expanded this luncheon into a halfday workshop. This event was designed to be an interactive networking opportunity for attendees to develop personal and professional development strategies in the pursuit of equal opportunities for career advancement. All indications point to a successful event for attendees. Each day included entertaining social events, networking opportunities, and informative events.
