He evaluates the effectiveness of different corrosion inhibitors and identifies the latest state-of-the-art corrosion monitor- ing technologies. He has an M.Sc. degree in chemical engineering and has been a member of NACE International since 2008. NAYEF M. ALANAZI is a science specialist at the Research & Development Center at Saudi Aramco, email: nayef.anazi@aramco. com. He has more than 17 years of profes- sional experience in materials and corro- sion. His interests are sweet and sour corrosion for the oil and gas industry. He has a Ph.D. in material and science engineering from Sheffield University, United Kingdom, and has been a member of NACE for seven years. A.M. EL-SHERIK is a corrosion science consultant at Saudi Aramco, email: abdelmounam.sherik@aramco.com. He focuses on corrosion management in crude oil and gas handling and transmission facil- ities. He advanced pipeline corrosion research in black powder, hydrogen induced cracking, and sulfur solubility and deposition. He is regularly invited as a keynote speaker on black powder. He has a Ph.D. in materials and metallurgical engineering. He has authored more than 80 publications, holds seven patents, and is an editor of the Elsevier book, Trends in the Oil and Gas Corrosion Research and Technologies: Production & Transmission. He is a 15-year member of NACE. ABDULLATIF I. ABDULHADI is a senior research consultant at Saudi Aramco. His research areas of interest include wear testing of advanced materials, corrosion monitoring, hydrogen permeation, and materials performance in sour environ- ments.
