Degan also highlighted several areas in which the NACE Foundation is helping and supporting students and research scholars to perform projects and academic studies related to corrosion. A cultural program was conducted by the NIGIS South Zone Student Section for the occasion in Chennai, and the event concluded with a dinner for participants, NACE members, and their family members. The Chennai event was organized by the NIGIS South Zone, while the Delhi pro- gram was organized by the NIGIS North Zone. The Mumbai festivities were led by NIGIS as a whole.
