NDT Global Earns Quality System Certification Ultrasonic pipeline inspection and data analysis services supplier NDT Global (Dublin, Ireland) received the DNV GL (Oslo, Norway) quality system certification for its first run success rate and on-time reporting figures management. The com- pany is the first and only supplier of pipe- line inspection and data analysis services to have its first run success rate and on- time reporting of key performance indica- tors (KPIs) independently verified. The inline inspection (ILI) first run suc- cess rate is a KPI used to measure overall ILI operational performance, and a success rate of 91% provides a baseline confidence in the operational execution of these ultra- sonic inspections. Meanwhile, the 98% fig- ure achieved for on-time reporting under- lines a commitment to delivering information to operators on time, thereby enhancing the efficiency of integrity man- agement programs. Using appropriate methods, DNV GL independently assessed NDT Global's KPI values for compliance with specification requirements. The assessment included validation of histori- cal data through spot checking, with a min- imum control rate of 15%; an assessment of KPI determination processes applied on actual data; and an independent determi- nation of KPI values based on the historical data.
